LETTINGS PROPERTY MANAGER:
Due to business success, we are recruiting an experienced Property Manager to join our professional and experienced lettings team in York who has a proven track record in Residential Lettings Property Management.
The Property Manager will be part of the residential team at our offices based on Holgate Road in York. We are a friendly team of 5 and work in an open planned office so we will be looking for a candidate who is comfortable with this role which involves greeting people who come into the office, registering applicants, answering telephones.
WHAT’S ON OFFER?
- Permanent position
- Monday to Friday 9am to 17:30pm (although currently finishing at 5pm) One weekend in three coving appointments Saturday 9am to 1pm & emergency cover over that weekend.
- Holiday entitlement – 20 days increasing with service
- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- Mileage paid at £0.35p per mile

MAIN TASKS:
- Handling any problems with the properties and dealing with the relevant contractors.
- Arranging for maintenance to be carried out.
- Instructing maintenance contractors and administering the invoices across the portfolio.
- Processing check outs through negotiation and arrangement of deposit release – understanding what constitutes fair wear and tear.
- Arranging inventories and check out reports by liaising with our third party provider.
- Property Visits and inspections
- Liaison with Landlords, Tenants & Contractors
- Managing compliance documents of contractors
- Organising Gas Safety Checks, Electrical Installation Conditions Reports and ensuring all let properties are up to date.
- In addition to Property Management tasks, there will be assisting the Letting team.
- Landlord, tenant and property data input
- Booking viewings

In addition to the tasks above, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:

- Full driving license
It would also be beneficial if the candidate held the ARLA Propertymark qualifications but not essential.
