Looking back on the season’s greetings we wished you in 2019, we could never have foreseen the year we were all about to encounter.  As a relatively new business, like many, we approached the year with trepidation and angst.

However, our concerns were allayed, and we were very grateful to see continued support from clients, old and new.  Having worked in this business now for many years, I can honestly say that the key to success is communication.  We constantly updated tenants with the varying covid legislation we negotiated our business through and ensured that they felt supported and knew exactly where we were when needed.  In return, we received heartfelt messages of support and gratitude which always make it a ‘good day at the office’.

I must take this opportunity to thank our incredible band of tradesmen. We have been, and continue to be, supported by a great bunch of professionals, who have also negotiated a difficult year for their individual businesses.  They are fundamental to us performing our duty as a Property Management Agents and as always, we are extremely grateful for their support and service.

I would also like to thank the team around me; Donna, Becki and our most recent addition, Brigitte.  They really do work so hard to ensure we provide the best possible service to all our clients, both landlords and tenants. Our abundance of five-star reviews on google and our Facebook page are tantamount to their hard work and dedication to providing fantastic customer service.

Although, as we come to the end of the year and we count our blessings, we are acutely aware that there are those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  Sadly, with the lack of ability to hold fundraising events, charities have been hard hit.  We therefore took the decision earlier in the year to support a small, local York based charity, The Snappy Trust.  They provide vital social and recreational support services to families of children and young people with disabilities and special needs.  Having supported their appeal for Easter Eggs, they are currently running a Christmas toy appeal so that they can deliver a present from Father Christmas to every child they support.

Littlefairs are going to buy a toy for each property let in November and December.  If any clients would like to help us support this deserving charity, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and we can buy a gift on your behalf.

Finally, all that is left for me to say is Merry Christmas to you and your families and here’s to a Happy New Year!

Best Wishes
